Just quick news about our current situation. Laura sent an email to Globetrotter, a german shop about adventure. It is just a first contact, but we hope to get eventually a sponsorship and maybe a possible article in one of their publication. It will take some time to have an answer. She also found a place as maid in a luxury hotel for the winter season. I currently wait for an answer to work in the same hotel. Furthermore I also work on my poetry book to self publish it before our next departure. Next to that we also try to define precisely the shape of our next adventure. We have many ideas, but we wish to do something more «professional», to create something that can engross people. All this create ton of stress and work, and it’s currently lot more diffucult to write articles.
Right now, it’s a challenging time for both of us. Creating your own alternative lifestyle is difficult, there is no shortcut or easy solution. You have to build everything by your own, step by step, your financial and «ideological» independency. Even more we look happily forward to our next trip, sometimes you just have to stick out a rough time.
So we try to thoroughly define every aspect of our next project. How to finance it, how to finance the material, how to improve the quality of our articles and videos and how to find a balance. We will keep you inform and will try to keep writing interesting articles.

In diesem kleinen Artikel wollen wir nur über unsere derzeitige Situation informieren und über die Vorbereitungen des nächsten Abenteuers. Laura hat eine Email an Globetrotter gesendet, ein deutscher Outdoorladen. Es ist nur der erste Kontakt, aber wir hoffen sehr auf eine Antwort um einen möglichen Sponsor zu finden und eventuell ein Artikel in ihrem Magazin entwerfen zu können. Es wird einige Zeit dauern etwas zu erfahren. Außerdem hat sie eine Stelle als Putzfrau in einem Luxushotel gefunden und wird dort die Wintersaison verbringen. Ich warte derzeit noch auf eine Antwort mit der Hoffnung im selben Hotel zu arbeiten. Die Zeit bis dahin nutze ich um an meinem Poesiebuch zu arbeiten, damit es vor dem nächsten Start veröffentlicht werden kann. Wir versuchen auch präziser zu werden die nächste Reise zu formen. Wir haben viele Ideen, aber wir streben etwas mehr „professionelles“ an um Ansprechenderes für Leute zu schaffen. All das verursacht eine Menge Stress und Arbeit und das Schreiben der Artikel fällt derzeit etwas schwer.
Momentan ist es sehr anspruchsvoll für uns beide. Die Erschaffung eines eigenen alternativen Lebensstils ist schwierig, da gibt es weder Abkürzungen oder eine einfache Lösung. Man muss alles selber schaffen, Schritt für Schritt, zur finanziellen und „ideologischen“ Unabhängigkeit. Umso mehr freuen wir uns auf unseren nächsten Trip, manchmal muss man halt eine schwierige Zeit aussitzen.
Somit streben wir an jeden Aspekt des nächsten Projektes gründlich zu planen. Wie ist es zu finanzieren, wie kann man das nötige Material finanzieren, wie können wir die Qualität der Artikel und Videos verbessern und wie findet man das Gleichgewicht. Wir werden euch auf dem Laufenden halten und werden weiterhin an interessanten Artikeln arbeiten.

Un petit article pour vous tenir informés du déroulement de nos préparations pour notre prochaine aventure. Laura a envoyé une lettre au magazine d’aventure allemand Globetrotter pour avoir un premier contact. Bien évidement il va falloir du temps pour avoir une réponse. Elle a également trouvé une place de femme de ménage pour la saison d’hiver dans un hôtel de luxe. De mon coté je suis actuellement en attente des responsables des ressource humaine pour un job dans le même hôtel. Je m’occupe également de mon manuscrit de poésie pour le publier en auto édition avant notre prochain départ. Nous réfléchissons également au contour de notre prochaine aventure, les idées ne manquent pas, mais nous voudrions faire quelque chose de beaucoup plus professionnel, essayer de faire une aventure plus à même de soulever l’intérêt du public. Tout ceci entraine beaucoup de travail et de stress qui rendent la rédaction des articles difficile, globalement plus longue.
C’est ici le moment le plus délicat, il est évident que construire une carrière et un mode de vie alternatif est très difficile. En effet il n’y a pas de raccourcis ou de réel modèle à suivre. Il faut construire pas à pas son autonomie financière et s’affranchir des structures mentales qui peuvent nous bloquer ou nous mener vers des impasses.
Alors on essaye de bien réfléchir à notre prochain projet, comment le financer, comment financer le matériel, comment améliorer la qualité des articles et vidéos et comment trouver un équilibre.
